Staying at La Mirande means experiencing life in an 18th-century Provençal townhouse, where every room, every fabric and every stone tells a story, and where the French art of living finds its finest expression.
A private residence transformed into a hotel, with its soul intact
Authentic, living fabrics from the 18th century
Each room is adorned with a historic French printed fabric — Indiennes and Toile de Jouy from the workshops of Braquenié, heirs to the Manufacture Royale de Jouy.
A carefully cultivated, organised wilderness
Marc Leonetti, a gardener with a deep love of nature, has created an organised wilderness where box hedges, fruit trees, holm oaks, roses and aromatic herbs grow side by side — all cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. Even at the height of summer, the garden retains its natural freshness: a peaceful haven in the historic heart of Avignon.
From sunrise to dinner,
a table facing the Palais des Papes
On either side of the garden, four distinct settings unfold throughout the day — from breakfast beneath the shade of the plane trees to evening cocktails, by way of afternoon tea and a gastronomic dinner.
A four-hectare estate
to sustain La Mirande
In keeping with their commitment to sustainable development, the owners cultivate an estate in Sarrians, in the Vaucluse — some twenty kilometres from the hotel — supplying the kitchens with seasonal produce.
